 Belonging Is Good Business

The National Association of Insurance Women (International) is an association of insurance professionals dedicated to development of leaders in the insurance industry. Nearly 13,000 members belong to local associations across the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. The San Francisco Chapter of NAIW is a group that includes insurance company personnel, retail and wholesale brokers, attorneys, claims personnel, surety professionals, and accountants, all committed to education and professional development. The association is open to anyone in the industry and provides mentors and role models, practical tools and information needed to succeed and the motivation and support to accomplish your goals.

Our local association was initially formed in 1933 as the "San Francisco Insurance Women’s League". We affiliated with the National Association of Insurance Women in June,1949. General luncheon meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, except for months with special events (May – NAIW Week Luncheon, June Installation, October Industry Breakfast and our Christmas Luncheon in December).
