SFCNAIW encourages its members to use their time, talents or treasure to help make a difference in the communities and local organizations. Below are some ways you can be involved, share your concern, and feel good about volunteering.
SFCNAIW Members and Friends - We'd like to get a group of Insurance Women of SF to yell, cheer and support the Walkers and Survivors in the 2010 AVON Walk. The walkers will include our own Rebecca Aherne, walking for the 2nd time!
We need you to join SFCNAIW for AIDS Walk San Francisco and walk with us on Sunday, July 18, 2010! Since 1987, AIDS Walk San Francisco has raised nearly $74 million for San Francisco AIDS Foundation and other HIV/AIDS organizations in the six Bay Area counties. Your support will help the Foundation prevent new HIV infections and promote health among those living with HIV.
L-R Annette, Yvonne, Ed Chan, Jonathan and Jenny, Judy Borja and Shanise Pelen. This group volunteered at the Asian Art Museum on Sunday, 9/7/2008.
The San Francisco Chapter of NAIW is partnering with the SF Sheriff's Department Women's Reentry Center. Do you travel a lot and pick up all those hotel provided toiletries? Have a collection that you just don't know what to do with? Let us help!! See the flyer below for details on how you can help this worthwhile cause!
